Energy meter PAC3100 (Siemens Sentron) |

The energy meter PAC3100 is a compact instrument indicated for the measurement and visualization of different net parameters with current input that can be connected in single-phase or three-phase nets. This energy meter PAC3100 detects the power values of individual consumers or electrical derivations. In addition to voltage and current, it also measures active, reactive and apparent power and indicate these values in the great screen of 72 x 54mm. In addition, this energy meter has an integrated RS485 interface that allows a total integration in the existing infrastructures. The communication through RS485 interface is made with the Modbus RTU protocol . This makes possible the reading of the values or the change of the device configuration . With the RS485 interface, you can consult the state of the two digital inputs. The two digital outputs can be used as an output of power impulses. When a suitable parametrization is made, the energy meter PAC3100 obtains a number of adjustable impulses by each power unit . As a second possibility, these outputs can be controlled remotely through RS485 interface . The configuration of the energy meter is made through software that is included in the delivery. This also allows to visualize momentarily the values of measurement.
