2.4m usable length with LED illumination for inspecting machine components and installations

The PCE-E 240 endoscope offers new perspectives into the inner workings of machines and installations. The endoscope is an ideal tool for inspection and maintenance within industrial applications and repair shops. It has never been so easy to optically analyze than it is with an endoscope. Simply introduce the fibre optic cable through a space in the machine's casing to view the components that are functioning within.
Thanks to its flexible cable, light weight and its exceptional optical capabilities, you can easily observe points of conflict or problem areas easily and quickly allowing for preventative measurements to be taken before any serious damage can be done. The long fibre optic cable makes this a particularly versatile instrument. The cable can be molded to a fixed shape to assist in making the right analysis.
The endoscope can be stored in its carrying case which comes included with the product. Other components are available separately, such as the 45º mirror attachment which extends the field of vision of the device. An optional camera adaptor allows for the endoscope to be attached to a digital camera allowing for photographs to be taken to document the area being monitored by the endoscope (please read the details regarding camera adaptation).
Use the PCE-E 240 endoscope to perform better daily on the job for inspection and maintenance work for installations and machinery and save time and money by not having to dismantle machinery.  It can also be used in research and development. The lens and cable are water resistant and can be submerged in liquids without any ill effects.

Technology

              PCE-E 240 endoscope: fibre optics make this an indespensible tool

The endoscope with flexible fibre optics, which is composed of a durable, water resistant cable.
Thousands of optic fibres make it possible to transfer visual information over an optical cable to our eyes. The flexibility of the fibre optic conductor is an important factor in the almost unlimited use of the endoscope. The ends of the fibres are positioned identically at each end. When the device is turned on, it sends a beam of light across the fibres from the cold light source to illuminate the area tube inspected. The image data is then sent back up the fibres to the eye-piece of the endoscope. This model comes with a flexible point (up, down, left and right) adjustable from the handgrip.

This endoscope is typically used by electricians, security personnel, specialists in all fields, mechanics, maintenance staff, for industrial processes, in the automotive industry, as well as for private use for home inspection.

IT is not necessary to dismantle or open a machine to diagnose potential faults.  With the endoscope, you simple have to introduce the fibre optic cable through a space in the machine casing.  This will save both time and money.
