Calipers may come with a clamping screw to be used as adjustable gauges. Measurements of the calipers are taken directly, fast and accurately by means of these instruments. 	Calipers Digital calipers offer to the customer a very easy and quick reading of the measuring values in relation to the conventional ones. Thanks to their big display, mistakes can be avoided. Digital calipers are more precise than manual calipers. Measuring procedure Press the ON/OFF key to start the calipers. Press the inch/mm key to select the desired measuring unit. Move the sliding end up to the desired position. Press ZERO. Measurement will be taken when the sliding end is moved. The measuring value will be continuously displayed. Functions of the Calipers Measuring units can be selected or changed in any position (inch/mm key).The display can be reset in any position. It can also take difference and control measurements (ZERO key). Changing the battery When the reading appears to be weak or there is nothing displayed, you must change the battery. Remove the cover of the battery compartment in the direction of the arrow to open the cover. Then remove the battery. The new battery must be placed with the positive terminal upwards. The calipers run off SR44 batteries. Problem solving. If there is any problem with the display the batteries must be changed. If the problem remains, the battery must be removed from the battery compartment and all the contacts must then be cleaned. When the calipers show a fixed value even when sliding end is moving, the electronics system may be damaged so the battery should be removed and the calipers reset.
