Pressure meters We offer pressure meters to determine absolute pressure, negative pressure or differential pressure in air and liquids. All our pressure meters are controlled by micro processors to guarantee the highest accuracy.
They are often needed in most fields of the industry including especially te
field of research and development, where they are used to develop new products
and determine the size and the thickness of parts or the whole product. In these pressure meters, they display results quickly and have an enclosure which is resistant to dust and water splash making these pressure meters perfect for a research and development environment. Multiple measurement ranges are available allowing you to find pressure meters just right for your purposes. Some of our pressure meters have the capability to transfer data to a computer, a printer or a storage
device
(Information: Manometers with an interface).
Often you will find additional software for those products so that you can
transfer the collected data to your PC and save it there to make use of it
afterwards. They
are suited for the industrial application thanks to the dust and waterproof
casing and its short response times. The amount of available measuring areas is
broad and makes an application in every case possible. Moreover, our pressure
meters support a large number of pressure parameters. Like it as already been
mentioned above we also offer corresponding software that can be purchased for
some products But there is also software on our server available for downloading
it free-of-charge. We also offer other optional accessories that can be
purchased. Simply talk to one of our sales people and they will assist you in
forming your purchase decision. There are also ISO 9000 calibration certificates and components for the pressure meters available if
required those calibration certificates ensure that the devices you order work
with a high accuracy and only vary slightly. Our digital pressure meters can have a maximum value of up to 1000 bar, but please contact us if you require pressure meters with a higher
maximum. If you can't find the pressure meters you are looking for, please contact us and we will help you find the best solution to suit your needs by calling our offices on: +44 (0)2380 987030 and our technical staff will advise you regarding our measuring instruments,
scales
and balances and our products from the field regulation
and control.

Pressure meters are used to determine absolute pressure (excess and negative) as well as rela tive pressure for air, gases and/or liquids. When a measurement for absolute pressure is taken within a closed system, consideration must be given for the pressure outside the system, therefore please take this into account when choosing a device. Pressure meters are also known as
manometers and are able to measure pressure
(absolute or relative) in gases or fluids. Most of the devices use atmospheric pressure for a reference however some devices use
vacuum as a reference point. Most of our Manometers can measure excess- or low-pressure. PCE Instruments offers absolute pressure meters, differential pressure meters and pressure meters for air velocity. Our
pressure meters are
all-purpose devices and engineers and technicians use them in various fields such as research and development, industry, trading etc.
One example for pressure meters is the barometer. It is used to determine air
pressure. Usually, absolute pressure meters which measure the air pressure in
relation to the pressure in a vacuum, are applied.
Our pressure meters are robust (dust and water resistant) and broad instruments where some of them are able to
measure up to 11 units and more. Pressure is the effect of force applied to a
surface. It is the amount of force acting according to a specific unit area. The
normal unit for pressure is Pascal which is one Newton per square meter. This
unit was firstly established in 1971. By purchasing one of our pressure meters you
will be able to make complete documentations of your measurements. All
instruments are microprocessor-controlled do therefore guarantee precise results
as well as reliability. We only offer products that offer good value for
money. Over the years we have made good contacts with our manufacturers and
seriously trust them when ordering our goods from them. In addition
to the other features of the pressure meters many of them come with a specific
software with which you will be able to view your results on your computer where
they will be shown as a chart or in a graph.
An ISO Calibration/certification is available for
companies who want to add the pressure meter to their ISO test equipment pool or
also for annually recalibration. This certification includes a calibration incl.
test certificate with all measurements. The name or the address of your company or
the data of the client will also be filled in so that you can be sure that the
device you ordered is working very accurately.
For many companies it is essential to have good working instruments to measure
pressure of all different objects, especially if the company is busy developing
new products and / or parts. The quality control of such businesses needs to be
more than precise simply to avoid getting sued by someone who has gotten a
non-satisfying product. This usually means a lot of lawsuits that can be held
over a couple of years. They cost time, nerves and usually a lot of money that
companies could invest in other necessary projects. A good example is here the
car industry. Recently there have been a lot of dysfunctional parts which have
occurred due to unsuitable material, which might have been too thin, too thick
or even too cheap. With our products such factors can already be measured when
developing the prototype.
