Dust
particle analyzers
We offer a wide
range of dust particle analyzers.
Dust
particle analyzers are everyday more used in
environmental measurements, factories and
offices to detect the concentration of dust
particles which workers are subjected to.
Such dust particle analyzers are also used
in the industrial research and development
or in clean rooms. Dust particle analyzers
Kanomax series are able to aspirate air in
order to check the
amount of particles. The dust particle
analyzer KM 3886 is a real time air cleaner
with memory and software to transfer data to
a computer. All dust particle analyzers meet
all current regulations and are delivered
with a factory calibration done (optional
ISO calibration certificate). Recalibrations
(according to the internal quality control)
can be carried out at any time after paying
a calibration fee. If you have any doubt
regarding our dust particle analyzers, call
us on: +44 ( 0 ) 191
377 3398 and our technical stall will be pleased to
help you regarding our dust particle
analyzers as well as the rest of our
measuring instruments.

Some definitions regarding dust particle
analyzers
Total dust: Sum
of respirable dust, thin and thoracic dust
(Respirable= solid, inhalable=liquid).
Respirable dust:
Respirable dust is defined as that fraction of
the dust with a thickness of 100
µm approx.
reaching alveolar region of the lungs (head
area). In order to detect pollution in air, you
may need a particulate sampling pump with a flow
rate of 3,5 l/min connection with a isokinetic
probe.
Thoracic dust:
Thoracic dust particles have a thicknes of
10 µm approx. which are
deposited anywhere within the lung airways and
the gas exchange region.
In order to detect pollution in air, you may
need a particulate sampling pump with a flow
rate of 3,5 l/min connection with a isokinetic
probe. |
